Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights towards us with regard to the personal data concerning you. To exercise your rights, please contact: mail@schluepmann.com

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain information on whether and which personal data we process about you, for what purpose and on what legal basis, as well as on the recipients, the storage period and the origin of the data.

Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You have the right to demand the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data and the completion of incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

You have the right to demand the erasure of your personal data where the legal requirements are met.

Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your data if the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, or you have objected to the processing and the review is still pending.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to have them transmitted to another controller, where this is technically feasible.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, insofar as it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR. In particular, the supervisory authority of the federal state in which you habitually reside is competent.

Purposes and legal bases of the data processing

When processing your personal data, the provisions of the GDPR and all other applicable data protection provisions are observed. Legal bases for the data processing arise in particular from Art. 6 GDPR.

We use your data to present our website, to initiate business, to fulfil contractual and legal obligations, to carry out the contractual relationship, to offer products and services and to strengthen customer relationships.

Your consent also constitutes a legal basis under data protection law. In this case we inform you in advance about the purposes of the data processing and about your right to withdraw consent. If the consent also relates to the processing of special categories of personal data, we will expressly point this out in the consent.

Disclosure to third parties

We will only pass on your data to third parties within the scope of the statutory provisions or with your consent. Otherwise, data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement authorities).

Recipients of the data / categories of recipients

Within our company we ensure that only those persons receive your data who need it to fulfil contractual and legal obligations.

In many cases, service providers support our departments in carrying out their tasks. The necessary data protection agreements have been concluded with all service providers. This also includes the hosting of this website.

Transfer to third countries

Data is only transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) where this is necessary to perform the contractual relationship, is required by law, or you have given us your consent.

Storage period of the data

We store your data for as long as it is needed for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods mean that data continue to be (or must be) stored. This applies in particular to retention obligations under commercial or tax law (e.g. the German Commercial Code, the German Fiscal Code, etc.). Unless there are further retention obligations, the data are routinely deleted once the purpose has been achieved.

In addition, we may retain data if you have given us your permission to do so, or in the event of legal disputes where we use evidence within the statutory limitation periods, which can be up to thirty years; the regular limitation period is three years.

Secure transmission of your data

To protect the data stored with us as well as possible against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons, we use appropriate technical and organisational security measures. The security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.

Data exchange to and from our website is encrypted in each case. As transmission protocol we offer HTTPS for our website, using the current encryption protocols in each case.

Obligation to provide data

Various personal data are necessary for establishing, performing and terminating the contractual relationship and for fulfilling the related contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions it provides.

In certain cases, data must also be collected or provided due to legal provisions. Please note that it is not possible to process your enquiry or to perform the underlying contractual relationship without these data being provided.

Web analytics

We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly open-source web analytics tool, to analyse and improve the use of our website. Umami is operated by ourselves (self-hosted) on servers in Germany. No data is passed on to third parties.

Umami works entirely without cookies and does not store any personal data, so a cookie banner is not required. Only anonymised, aggregated usage data is collected: page views, referral sources (referrer), device used and country. IP addresses are not stored. It is not possible to attribute the data to individual persons.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing our website according to demand, Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

You can disable tracking by entering localStorage.setItem('umami.disabled', 1) in the browser console. You can find further information about Umami at umami.is/privacy.

Links to other providers

Our website also contains links to the websites of other companies. Where links to the websites of other providers exist, we have no influence on their content. We therefore cannot accept any guarantee or liability for this content. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for their content.

The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations and recognisable infringements at the time of linking. No unlawful content was recognisable at the time of linking. However, permanent monitoring of the content of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement. Upon becoming aware of infringements, such links will be removed immediately.
